Decent little heritage house smack bang in the centre of Georgetown. No lift so be wary if you're disabled. Room was fine, I had private double with ensuite. No much space to put things but it's a hostel at the end of the day. Had air con and a TV and you could leave aircon on all day. Hot water mornings only. You get a fresh towel daily and change it at reception. Free toast, butter, jam marmalade and tea and coffee in the morning, which I actually enjoyed. A lot of people moan on review but I liked it. You have to wash your own cup and plate but no hard ship. Nice common area downstairs to sit and chill and meet others, and good scooter rental round the corner. Google happy Ken,,, brand new bikes for 40 ringett a day. Highly recommend

Very clean hostel, centrally located with all what you need. Thed bed in my 4 dorm bed room was comfortable, you get a free towel and each bed has a shelf with a closable door to store your valuables, there is even a power plug inside to charge your electronics in peace. The air condition is very quiet. Shared bathrooms and roikets are ver clean. The hostel has a tiny cooking/kitchen facility. The excellent thing is the all day free coffee, tea, swiss hot chocolate packs and filteres water. In the morning you have a complementary breakfast with help yourself toast, butter, jam and fresh watermelon. There is even a toaster to toast your toast. The lobby has a café like chill out area with view on the street. Friendly staff.

Very good location, staffs were very nice. I informed in advance about my time of arrival. It was very late. Check in was smooth. There is some problem with the payment. Apparently booking.com did not send the property my payment invoice. Once I showed owner the email with confirmation of payment, he found it in the system. Breakfast is some bread, jam and margarine. Also there is tea and coffee. There is a water dispenser. Toilet was clean. I was allowed to leave my luggage (though at my own risk) for several days. When I returned from Ipoh, I wanted to rebook, but sadly there was no free room that night.

Located in the middle of the old town. Many food options around. The shared dorm of 4 pax is not big but it is comfortable. Comfy bed too. Every bed comes with a small locker, a light and two plugs. Breakfast is simple but was enough to fill me well, it consists of bread, jam, coffee, tea and watermelons. The service team members are nice and patient. Toilets are clean and decent enough with hot water. Here, the social area at ground level at the reception is small so it is easy to meet other travellers and guests in this manner. In general, I am happy with my stay here and I will come back again.

Great location, near Little India. There's a personal storage locker at the front of the bed. Bed is comfy & cozy, aircon is cold. There are multiple shared bathrooms, come with heated water, slightly tight space, liquid soap available. Breakfast available at 8.30am, sometimes earlier. Self serve, toast, free flow of coffee & tea. Love the juicy watermelon. :) Friendly staffs. I would recommend this place to young ppl & travellers for a budget stay. Value for money. Will book again :)
